Betsy’s life began with a fight. Born with a hole in her heart, she survived two life-threatening surgeries before her second birthday, at a time when survival was far from certain. That resilience became the core of who she is. Adopted by parents who taught independence and grit, she began working at age 11 and held two jobs by 14, funding her pursuits with determination and drive.
As a college student, she became a top national Cutco salesperson by leading with authenticity, connection, and an unmatched work ethic. Throughout her career, she consistently broke through barriers, refusing unequal pay, diminished titles, or environments that did not honor integrity. Driven by a vision to build something exceptional, she bet on herself and founded HIMpros.
Today, Betsy is not only a founder and CEO, she is a single mother of two young boys, raising them with the same resilience, courage, and honesty that shaped her own life. She models strength through transparency, empathy, and accountability, and instills the belief that purpose and service matter.
At HIMpros, Betsy is building a culture rooted in recognition and meaning, ensuring people feel seen, supported, and inspired. Having experienced rare and excruciating nerve pain, she has personally gone through 5 extensive surgeries which strengthens her gratitude to be alive, as well as her resolve to improve patient care from the inside out. Her work improves healthcare operations by empowering the people who support patient care, using data, clarity, and humanity to make a measurable impact.
